Temporary exhibition - "René Magritte. Les Chants de Maldoror" - 86 original works


Les Chants de Maldoror

inspired by "Les Chants de Maldoror" of Comte de Lautréamont (Isidore-Lucien Ducasse).

Isidore-Lucien Ducasse

Les Chants de Maldoror is considered to have been a major influence upon French Symbolism, Dada, and Surrealism.

Les Nécessités de la Vie

inspired by "Les Nécessités de la Vie et les Conséquences des Rêves" of Paul Eluard.

First time in Poland, these original works by René Magritte are now in Dalineum and this exhibition is realized in partnership with Collection Kesauri. Exhibition is open from 01/04/2018 and is featuring 86 original works of greatest master of our time - René Magritte.

The exhibition is composed by exhibits from Collection Kesauri - original litographs of René Magritte - his illustrations for "Les Chants de Maldoror" of Isidor Ducasse and for "Les Nécessités de la Vie et les Conséquences des Rêves" of Paul Éluard. The exhibition highlights the major key aspects of work of the greatest artist of our time - René Magritte.
